Default Post Processing?

I'm a regnum beta tester who has recently come back to try out the release of Regnum online but have come to find that the post processing option simply does not work for me. I installed the game on 2 computers(one very high end one) and whenever I check the little "post process" check box in options, and load the game, it never takes effect. So I log out and relog back in, check the options, and the post processing checkbox is unchecked, regardless of the fact that i checked the thing earlier.

So can anyone tell me as to why I'm getting this odd problem?

EDIT: I tried playing the game in
"Direct 3d" which fixed the problem, but direct 3D is a much older graphical engine and I'd prefer to play in OpenGL, is there any way to get the effect to work in OpenGL?

Hmm..
What video card do you have? Are you running on OpenGL or Direct3D?

They are both APIs, not graphical engines. And the postprocess option was implemented first on Direct3D and MUCH later in OpenGL. This last one requires the latest available drivers from ATI.

And Direct3D is not older, or newer; they both have similar capabilities on these days.
