Why you gived up playing conjurer

This is actually a thread to show everyone how great Ieti is. All I need is for someone to make a movie called The Last Conjurer starring Tom Cruise as Ieti.

I made this thread provoked by recent confuse thread. Reason was to ask others why they gived up conjurer. I play normal, even bad - i can not judge others have to say. There are alot better conjurers like asdaf, healer, shroud, zordak, valour, ise, syrtisa, arwen and many more.

If it sounded like that i'm sorry. I just tried to be active in this thread and not start it and left it behind.

Ieti you are as good as all the ones you mentioned, everyone can make mistakes and everyone can be good with some practice, also the current state of conjurer doesn't allow you anymore to keep an army alive by self, conju's job is smoother, but still hard:
- selecting target is still painfull
- keep an eyes on everyone
- press V command and try to find out who's wounded
- keep an eyes on your mana and menage it
- also keep yourself alive since there are too few players that protect conjus
- keep your buffs under control, they will run off when the situation is a pain :P

so definitely conjurers are not gods anymore.

I still love playing my conjurer, the reason i can't play is pretty known, my computer can't run regnum anymore, it seems to obsolete.... from time to time i steal my mother's one, so that's why you see me around :P

First of all, nice points by Isemon.

Ieti, don't worry about how you perform as conju (that goes for the rest of the conjus as well). I believe that we all do our best out there. Like you said, sometimes - acually most of the time we're faced with the fact that there are only a few conjus out there and we get overburdened with tasks. Common sense dictates that conjus can't help everyone in such situations and are bound to make some bad calls along the way.

It's not our job to keep them all alive - it's their job to keep themselves alive. If they go out on kamikaze attacks and then complain that their only conju couldn't heal them in 2 seconds, then it's their problem. They have to learn to use their brain - even if it's the hard way.

If anyone ever complains to you in a non-constructive way (like being rude), just stop supporting them for a while to teach them some manners. That's what I do. Hell, let me know who it is and I'll join you (Tomy).

Ieti, Raindance was just being rude. Don't let him or her get to you. Clearly you made this thread to hear what other conjurors had to say and I say cheers to you for making it! I've enjoyed all the posts, hearing the variety of experiences.

Ise, I would follow you into any battle, any invasion. Hope your computer gets upgraded soon, or that your mother gets a new one and passes hers down to you.

No because it is not your problem. How a conju is played it is also not your problem. Be happy to be heal, because it is a gift not a duty. (and nothing liked with god)

Anyway, with more and more range on wz, conju are less and less usefull. They become only easy RPs for hunters camoed.

Well, you know that I loved to play conjurer, as I did for almost 2 years. But last update kill the fun in conjurer gameplay for me. I was not able to play hybrid setup anymore, so I turned to full support knight. Makes more fun to me.

Do not forget than conjurers play to have fun (for most people in regnum) and there are not your pet.

V key is good for forts and when forces are wide spread, otherwise can't select anyone.

I remember seeing a thread long time ago, saying something along the lines of "it is not a conjurers job to keep you alive", true words. We are there to help, not to save your life because of a streak of bad luck or just plain idiocy. Your survival is your priority, not ours

Also, to those who are bashing on the conjus that don't 'do their job well', keep in mind that they're trying their best (hopefully ) and having fun; which is something that games like Regnum are for. Some may have different playstyles than others, and some are still learning to play the class.

It IS the duty of a conju to heal for sure. A conju does no favor healing his/her allies.

I think you pointed mostly all things that makes me dont wanna play conju.
I specially dont like to have few, VERY few players that protect conjus.
