Yeah yeah.

Ok lets say hypothetically the planet will be hit by a asteroid tomorrow, if we take the events that followed that during the dinosaur mass extinction event then the dust alone will cover the sky for many years, decimating plant life and by extension animal life, and us.

And what exactly are you meant to do about it? If we regress to some kind of fallout-esq world tomorrow the oh well there's nothing I can do about it, least all by sitting here going 'oh shit we're going to die!'

If I go on living my life as I am and it happens, then there's nothing I could have done anyway.

If I 'prepare' by, I dunno digging a hole under my shed or something and it doesn't happen that's a waste of time.

If I 'prepare' by, I dunno digging a hole under my shed and it does happen then I get to live in the same shit world as If I hadn't done anything, except now my garden has a hole in it.

but for the 21th dec 2012 we will also need 13 ancient crystal skulls. Last month a crystall skull was found in bavaria but I don't know how many have still to be found.

Hopefully Indiana Jones will reunite them at the place where they should be
