You should find one of those thread and read it again.

I am almost sure you will not find a single one that has not been swarmed by lots of people who were saying no-no-no-and-no.

For my part, I didn't yet vote since I can't access to amun cause of crashes. But tbh, I'm sure it's a total waste of time and a new bugs nest.

In curent state is not a useful features.
But neighter bad one.Nobody can complaint about something that not tested enaught in live server.
But i don't think this will make the game-play so worst as people complaint....need more tests (with positions)that is a serious bug ...glitching is nut so bad bug.In old days ppl had lots of fun glitching rocks or hide inside them....

Unfortunaly all people jump at NGD just because they expected others features balance/gameplay...and declaire everything that they make is wrong.

It might be me mixing up german and NGD forum here, but I think having red on both about that wish.

As far as I remember, there were only few random newcomers who posted a request for jumps in NGD forums. Mainly because they can jump on other MMO and want to do the same with regnum.
That may be different on german gamigo forums. On french gamigo forums, not a single user asked for jumps.

On topic, since I can't access to Amun, did anyone try to select jumping enemies in a crowd? Is it easy or not?
I bet we will soon have lots of complaints about unselectable bunny hoppers.

Despite my stated bias, I am actually going to wait and see how this matures. There are obvious balances that are needed and adjustments. Rather than jump the gun, I will wait for more mature iterations and have some sort of opinion then. Too early to judge objectively.

So I vote "on the fence ".

I just tried out the only possible situation why I would want to jump in Regnum. Went to Imperia Plateau and felt in the hole with purpose because I wanted to try how to jump out of the hole without being forced to die.

It's not possible! You can't jump while sticking in that hole. I couldn't even stop running inside that hole. After a relog, I stoud inside the hole and couldn't jump, move or do anything except.... yes you guessed right.... DIE.

Would you please make it possible to jump while being stuck inside holes? The way it is right now, there is no sense at all with it.

I think they can't, cause there is no stable ground under your char.

I mean when you are stuck in a hole, in fact your char is still falling, but collision detection prevents you to fall lower. So since you're still falling, you cannot move in any direction, and in the same way, no jump allowed.



I could be wrong, but I'm convinced it works as I described.

I think there are few people who think it's truly a BAD idea. For me it isn't, the problem is that the game isn't ready for jumping.

That's one way, I found a few spots where it can occur even if your character isn't legitimately falling too though. There were some strange situations where I couldn't jump without moving first, additionally there were some holes though that were so small that there was no room to run & jump.

No clue why this happened to me sometimes. I'd rather think that if there was no stable ground under your character, then you would see looped falling animation.
