which distro are you running?
as root do:

Code:

# find / -name libglx*

you found the libglx.so
then do:

Code:

# ls -l /path/to/libglx.so

i think your problem is the libglx.so, not linked to nvidia_version_libglx.so but provided from xorg

i had those blank screen problems a while ago
the solution for me was to delete or rename the regnum folder and download the whole game again

As mentioned, I've found black screen issues like that while using a compositing window manager (beryl for me) and anything 3d. If that's not it, *shrug*
