I think it would be nice, as a conjuror, to be able to see realm-mate's mana under their health bars without the need for making a party.

If i scroll the spellbar using mouse my screen zooms in and out at the same time, something that doesnt happen on current version

Why do we have a list on left for party members, what does it do compared to party dialog ?
I wish we had options to hide/show those. Also, the combat log cannot be resized in height, how a hunter is supposed to read big tracks if they do'nt fit the window ? scroll ?? Seriously, new UI is visually great, but it fails to improve the gameplay (same as new forts). I retain two useful features from current changes: - being able to select party members for classes that need it (conjs, not hunters ie.) - optionnal double spellbar The rest is very so-so. NGD, can you tell us more ? what will be configurable ? where are you going with this new UI ? I'm a bit worried about new premium items, which will increase again imbalance between non-xims/xims players. What are the chance to drop those items ?

EDIT: Reporting some issues like usual: - the '-' button of the minimap finally seems to work, however it's very hard to click it. The only way is to click the very bottom of the icon. After running around on amun for a bit, i found the following:
-Map border seems to have been accidentally changed to overlap the "+" zoom button and partially overlap the "-" zoom button -Right clicking in the mini map will make the cursor disappear until you click again -Big dead trees and broken trees like the ones found in "barukaan's domains" can be walked through -The old torch that was on the right of the old Ignis Initiation Zone entrance gate from the frontier zone is still there (not sure if it's meant to be) -Water pendant altar is now almost in the side of a hill and off of the ground partially Remodeled (will try to include screenshots): -Ignis Initiation Zone gate -Altar area in Essadis's Arteries -Water Pendant area was slightly changed |

Hi, I just went on Amun again and i saw many complained about the Log of being as a seperate chat. at the scrollbar of chat there is a "C" If you press that it will become as before(or as current on Horus,Ra,etc.) Also the quick Spellbar: that doesnt have any shortcuts to spells??
And seeing the face of your char. is awesome but I think its gonna get me(or everyone) a big lag in wars. So why not do an option if the player wants to display them or not? Like Weapon Trails. The player chooses if to display or not. And it's a good idea if to display mana with health. Almost forgot! There are a '+' and a '-' near the minimap. What are these suppose to do? I clicked them many times and none happened. |

On that combatlog issue, please make it so you can resize it. Personally i prefer it to show more.
Clog combined with HP bar + (de)buff feedback is the *main* source of reaction decisions (for me) as its more reliable then animation feedback. With that in mind itd be nice to have the option to show the (de)buffs near the HP bar so you can skim over it easily between watching the Clog. The current positioning is WoW like, which isnt bad. When it comes to refined UI and mechanics WoW really rocks. But remind you, WoW only shows the own positive buffs on top right side. That allows to not spam the (de)buff bar, which is initially located under the HP bar, with buffs you really dont need to see active as the are standard or information about them isnt cruical. The important feedback about debuffs is with no exceptions shown near your HP bar, where you naturally spend most of your focus. Please adapt! Last edited by _Enio_; 12-17-2011 at 09:21 AM. |
