Disabling character portrait by editing something.

Well I somewhere read that someone disabled the chatacter portait by changing some lines.. I thought it was Scias but not sure so I was wondering.
I can't find the post so I hope the person who posted it (If I wasn't dreaming) could tell me how he/she did it. I would really like to disable that, my FPS is pretty low actually and the face of my Uthgar doesn't fit the portrait -_-.

I heard it doesn't disable portrait, but only reduces its size to 0.
So I think it's still computed internally and you prolly won't see any change on your fps.

In one word, it's only a cosmetic change rather than fps improvement.

Do you mean those ugly circles near hp and mana bars? I want to disable them to: It`s impossible to use hp/mana bars now, cause they are to small, and have hardly readable bold font.
