We have a lot of work to do for all the subclasses, not only the barb.
Some are more "finished" than others, so we generally shift from one to another (We wish we could do everything at once but that's simply not possible for us right now). Generally speaking, we have plans to do monster powers which basically means that some monsters will cast spells at you (bosses will be a lot harder to kill for instance). And we intend to add a lot more modifiers to magical items, which will make up for the challenging creatures by giving you more interesting loot than a "worned leather armor". We have in spare, tweaking the aggro system which will make some encounters more challenging (for instance, a monster could decide to attack the conjurer that's healing the knight instead, but the knight would have a "taunt" spell as well to avoid this). And there are a lot of other things we have in mind, but as you may already know, we are preparing for the German launch so we are quite busy with everything. Regards

Omg , mobs that cast spells , that could get very interesting to get hit with like a prickling ivy from a mage ghost and get nailed by like 3 at a time from range.

Mobs that cast spells could be interesting, but what I've always wondered is what use are the NPC mage guards if they never actually cast spells. :P

Having the mobs cast spells and be more challenging would be a lot of fun. But since it would be a bit more challenging, it should give you more XP for each kill. This would make it funner to level (you actually have to use strategy against the mobs) and faster leveling with more XP.
I'm already level 50, but I would go attack some mobs just for the fun of it if it was like that. And it would make me more motivated to create another character.

Well, the positive feedback indicates that we are on the right track.
About the upcoming update (Current changes), yes, it is less than a month away. We are working hard to get this as soon as possible. Regards

Definitely, I'm very excited about the stated things in the works. Monsters that can cast spells will make a lot of the PvP skills useful in PvE, such as Dizzy skills.

That sounds like a great idea! The skills you use to level up would better prepare you for PvP situations too!
