We luckily tend not to get particularly extreme weather in England, a tornado in America will flatten a town, a tornado in England will knock over a few potted plants and maybe scare next doors cat.

When we had quite heavy wind + rain it did destroy my umbrella though I'd had that thing for years, big beasty fella, wind broke all 6 of the metal struts on one side and bent them backwards, the thing looked like a flag afterwards
