This i am up for....but meh, not really looking forward to this Raven/Horus merge...

I have always been proud of the Horus name, Haven.....doesnt have the same ring to it, a safe place...meh, it's a war game, a district in someones inner realm should be called Haven... ..its a weak name imo...horus it's a good realm to play, it's busy enough mostly, a lot of players have made a ton of suggestions here there and everywhere on how to boost the population, but again...the bigger picture has been missed.....it's all well and good getting new players to come..it's making them stay that's the hard part.... this could have been fixed a long time ago..but it seems unless the great gods at NGD don't think of an idea, it's not a good one.. :/

My biggest concern is timezones still, this will only boost the night population for the european players, for us, daytime will be pretty much the same....the time alot of us actually play on
Horus .....will be trying to defend the crap out of our gems/gate, or as i like to call it, the nightshift cleanup...


Second concern is the GC/Gm's... will we get a ban for saying shit of fuck in general/realm chat? You recently made the game 18+ ....also these words can be found in a dictionary, a book that anyone at any age who can read has access to....as many many players here know...anyone can be prone to the odd rant or outburst because of the lag/noob that killed ya/lack of help from your own realm etc...it's fun to see Surak or Frosk etc on now and again, but Horus, like Ra, can pretty much look after itself, i'm not keen on the thought were gonna have GM's breathing down our necks all the time...making sure we don't say naughty words etc...i'm a bit old to be mothered :P


Also, an issue i have seen on Raven is the sheer amount of boosters these guys at Gamesamba give out... is this now going to be a regular occurrance on our new Haven server? It's war killer....so if thats going to continue...will Gamesamba be giving free stuff to just their registered players or will the old Horus crew get the same? I hope that both server players are treated the same..but if Raven is doing so bad it has to merge..i'm not sure if Gamesamba can afford to give away free stuff to another few hundred players like myself..and on the other hand, will the raven players get mad and leave if their oh so precious boost hours and events are taken from them?


So no, this merge...i see more problems caused than solved, but after all, i am not NGD, it's not my choice..it is my choice to quit the game tho

I have an NGD account and a gamesamba account. NGD = syrtis and gamesamba = alsius.
My gamesamba chars aren't lvled beyond 10, I obviously don't want to lose my NGD account. How will this merge affect my chars?

A few things came to my immediate attention and I feel I have to point out:

"Both NGD and GameSamba believe that while Raven and Horus can co-exist peacefully for a long time to come"

Implying that it is indefinite and things may change, which suggests a certain amount of uncertainty amongst NGD/GameSamba over this decision.

"..segmenting the userbase is no longer a smart choice."

When was it ever?

"Whether you're from Horus or Raven, we are pretty sure the increase in online players and warzone activities will make you glad to call Haven your new home."

well the cussing rule only applies to realm chat as does the english only rule

well the boost is 100% during weekdays and 200% on weekends. now that this runs 24/7 it really does not affect the warzone. whether or not this continues to be the case time will tell the gms pretty much stay innerrealm unless someone reports a hack being done or are stuck in the landscape

I actually hoped to see more then 50% boost lol... Normally they give 100% during the week... :*(. Hoped to spend some boosters to finally make my Hunter to lvl 60

Blaa, its in the faq, you get accounts merged into a multirealm account (then you get banned for multirealming? :P ). Would like to know what will happen with the website, forum, support system and looking forward to the population boost and hopefully improved timezone situation.
EDIT: and do we get to keep Frosk?
