Default Multicore Confusion

I would love to see someone official throwing a light on the matter, if possible:

Since the update, both of the cores of my processor work at full capacity while RO is running. Before, only one core was working, while the other one was sleeping. So I thought, finally there's multicore support.

But some people keep telling me that nothing has changed on their 4-core CPUs.

If there isn't multicore support, how come that RO uses 2 cores (evenly distributed to full capacity, it's clearly to be seen if RO loses focus: both cores fall to 75% each)? And if there is multicore support, how come that there is no difference on 4- or 6-core CPUs?

Old question but i'm curious too.

I'm on a mac but run the game with winehq because it doesn't have mac bug. And i see the CPU eat only 1 / 4 core on wine. That give me some space to run other thing beside.

Official answer from a ticket was that regnum don't support multicore. Then why on my mac did the game eat most of my 4 cores with native mac launcher ?
On windows i don't remember exactly but i'm pretty sure it was more that 1 core.

Can someone explain something ?

Well, not sure why (not a wonk-expert), but CoR seems to use much more resources, compared to outputs, than other computer apps. Many for years have said it's a matter of just too much code & calculations adjusting & stacked on other code & calculations, etc, etc, etc, adjusting & stacked on original code & calculations. If possible, please oh please, bugfix these matters & vastly simplify the overall processes....
