Proxy - Shunnel

Hi all.
At my current school, they have disabled all kind of internet traffic except common website requests.
Therefore I have set up a "shunnel" SSH Tunnel with Dynamic Forwarding to surf using my father's office's internet connection.

I have written down the neccessary proxy information in the game.cfg file.. when I noticed that it didn't support SOCKS proxies.

So I googled and found some good HTTP proxies and entered them into the game.cfg file.

Launcher still cannot log me in !
"Connection to autopatch failed".

Do anyone have a clue how I might solve this ?
And would it work doing like this with Regnum ?
Surfing using my SOCKS proxy, external HTTP proxy already works.
