Same thing here on Linux. That's what I get for logging out then trying to get back on. What did I expect? I didn't really think it would work after an update, did I?

Is there solution for this problem?? Few hours ago I logged normal as always, but now after some update download, I stuck on the same point as OP's screenshot shows.
Linux Mint, etc... Seems NGD did one more great update that doesn't work. Good job!

Same here, Mint Ubuntu user, stuck in the loading screen after character selection. It loaded & loaded, thought it was anniversary/event patch/update, but after a time, it hung up. It's no longer downloading at all, but is doing 'something' as game is still making extensive use of & tying up cpu resources according to my os's system monitor ... oh, well ... can't play ... gotta' appreciate the fitting irony of perfect timing ... a very 'Happy' Anniversary indeed! ...
 Thanks, NGD. Another truly memorable anniversary 'event' (Buwahahaha).

Confirmed. After logging in, selecting character it loads to about 66% and hangs. Are we linux-users missing some new library dependancy that we don't know about?
If so, what is the lib?

Poor linux...
Ubuntu user aswell, Been trying for an hour to log in but it still gets hung at 68%. Damn shame...
