Son of the wind animation bugged
Son of the wind and escapist animations are bugged under, and have been for quite some time. Here is screen shot how it looks like. This is from PC with AMD A10-7800 APU, and it looks the same as with Intel GPUs and not dependent whether or not shaders are used.
It looks like all Son of the Wind "rings" that are supposed to form this twister-like animation are all smashed in the ground. In some terrains, the animation can't be seen and one keeps wondering why the archer resists all the spells. Escapist has only the bottom part visible, also very hard to see. |

Sotw is bugged for me too. Escapist not.
That's the case for all linux users as far as i know. Mac probably too because of opengl. Reported it long ago, including Stalagmite and reveal. http://www.championsofregnum.com/for...d.php?t=101943 On some terrains you can hardly see it at all pb and efe for example, which is really annoying and makes you waste spells on sotw.

Can you please specify your GPU and driver? For me Son of the Wind is bugged on: Intel X3100 with mesa driver, AMD A10-7850 with both radeon/mesa and fglrx drivers, G-Force 9600GT with nvidia driver,

Happened for me in mac with good drivers and graphics but when i switched to windows with less graphics and bad driver sotw was normal.
Now in my current windows its working fine, i think it usually occurs in linux and mac cause of open gui

Bump, can we have this fixed? It just makes archers gods to a warlock, who wastes all his spells on a target with invisible sotw animation on any non-flat terrain.

Yes, I know, that was actually a reply on my post in that thread ... I am still just hoping Adrian didn't mean that there won't be bug fixes, and that he only meant there won't be any eye candy to make it look nice as DirectX version. Anyway, this bug, together with not rendered water are the most annoying bugs in the game.
