Next update: Leveling
Quote:
The last thing I was thinking of when the next update was in my mind was is that you will try to make lv 30 more suitable for war. Reaching level 30 IS already fast and easy to achieve even with the currently implemented outdated quests, takes only a few days even now. Why do you think that boosting a lv 30 player's stats to look like a lv 50 one will do any good? WZ is a place for mostly lv 60 players, lv 60 Wm, lv 60 WM with OP WM jewells, so a stat-boosted lv 30 (that is equal to a lv 50) will still find only frustration in the war zone. I was hoping that you will make lv 50 reach-able in a few days by doing quests only, also that you will raise mob numbers, because it is really annoying at the moment that you have to run around for long minutes just to find a mob to kill. Makes grinding and leveling even more boring and longer... Please forgive me, I mostly say my first thoughts the way i think. It might sound harsh. I understand that you might lose some income if you make it possible to reach lv50 in only a few days, but after lv 50, players could still buy xp scrolls to lv up faster, also, some new premium item never hurts. If you want, I will edit my first post in the thread to try to sum up the best ideas Last edited by Kimahri_Ronso; 10-13-2015 at 05:49 PM. |

Sorry for double-posting but I have to add something.
For me the real problem is that above lv 30 there aren't any quests that grant nice xp. In fact, there are hardly any quests after that. Last one is at lv 43 (can only comment for alsius). The very ones are laughable when it comes to the xp reward they give. You have to grind almost the whole lv, which isn't that much at lower levels (30-35), but it gets more boring after that. Only if there were mobs to kill, Please raise their numbers and /-or their respawn time as well! |

I agree, quick levelling by quest to 50 . From 50 there should be party monsters for party grinding! Grinding alone is boring. Other grind games allow to party up and have social interactions not so in regnum very few grind in groups

Just a few ideas to make the levelling a little less grindy;
1. You need more mobs, on all classes I end up resting so more mobs will spawn... so either; 1.a. have grind instances - long tunnels full of monsters for small parties to take on, or 1.b increase the mob spawn rate drastically. I hate instances, but i suspect this might be the better option as too many mobs may cause the game to lag 2. REMOVE letter quests. They teach you *nothing* about the game, yet they give you experience? What? Maybe change the reward to gold from the letter quests, but it certainly shouldn't be experience. It's currently the fastest solo grind method but it's painfully boring. 3. Make the realm task board searchable - I have cyclops eyes, why must i click through 100 quests to find the right item. Just a few ideas, I'll add more as I come up with them Keep up the good work!

Im assuming they will only boost damage resistance, health, mana and dps (items) for lvls 30-49? Why not boost their power points along with it? every new player should learn the basic fundamentals of the gameplay asap and test what setup would suit them. with the lack of pp on the other hand makes it a bit harder to accomplish.
The most important aspect almost every mmo player judges nowadays is the gameplay. Look at arcane devotion and sacrifice for example, without these spells gameplay becomes dull especially since you have to rest for mana every now and then. From lvl 1 to 20 its just spamming normal attack on mobs and resting again and again, like nearly every other generic mmo out there. just my 2 cents |

I must say, if I understand right and they are going to revamp lvl 30+ so players on those levels will have similar stats as level 50 now, those are really good news.
I'll just remind you, the fact that low levels(30-40) aren't able to war isn't because they have few power points, but because they do no damage at all in war(so offensive classes have no point, and actually all classes that can be usefull by doing damage are less effective). So basically, after that whole mess with wm jewels ,crazy reward systems, and wm boosts to overpopulated realm this sounds like heavenly music to me. All great news, looking forward!

I think it sounds good.
Well balanced for once, quick access to endgame, without making future multies drool with excitement. |

Sounds interesting. I always went to WZ on levels even below 30. I think that playing low level in WZ teachs you how to play carefuly and as a support.
I saw a lot of people who was complainig on weakness of their characters on level 30, then 40, then 50. Usualy after 60 they just quit
