Forum accounts
There seems to be a problem with forum accounts...
- I can not register for a new account. - I can not use my account i made via gamigo. - I can not link to my custom avatar in profile image using an URL. |

You can only have one account per email address unless you made it in the German version. You also need to make sure you have the German version downloaded and have a different username to the account you made on the global version.

I think this would make it a bit more clear: Your forum-account is bound to your regnum-account.
When i created my regnum-account (as in account for the game itself), a forum account was automagically created. I think the gamigo account is bound to the forums on the gamigo-server, but i'm not sure. Have you tried logging in there with your gamigo-account?

Aha so the game account is bound to the forums...thats kinda logical...
But what i didn't understand was why i could not use my account on these forums. Now i understand that the account i created on, while being redirected to, the German site is bound to the gamigo forum. This is a little confusing for new players... FYI: I used different email accounts to create these game accounts. Im using the tor-network, which made me being redirected to gamigo on my first account creation, while my second one got processed as being from elsewhere. Tor-network makes random connections from all over the planet I think it would be much better if all accounts would be usable on one (1) official forum. The subsections for different languages could be made by redirecting to a different forum but still using same account info from official site. That way there will be a uniform access point for players, and confusions like mine would never happen. Thanks for clearing this issue. |
