Lag better

Since the last update i have found that the lag is greatly improved, even with 650 users.

This the same for everyone?

I haven't had any real lag issues, at least until server started it's meltdown last nite ........... good job NGD !!!

Yep lag in general is better. But it seems that the spells in general need a bit more time until they react.

I noticed this too - but i thought it was because of the slow long bow my new char is using. I only ever used medium and fast till recently.

the general slowness of the gameplay was because of a bug introduced along with the server optimizations... today (friday 28) we have patched this error. Please report if this negative side effect has been corrected.

My casting speed and time between casts is significantly improved. I don't know if this is intended or not, but I don't remember casting 3 spells per second...

Things are MUCH better after the last update. As I mentioned in another thread, spell lag used to make it almost impossible to play when about 580 to 590 users were online. But the day they did the update, the devs brought over a ton of German players, and it got up to 840+ users... and the game was still quite playable.

i still lag like hell...today i logged twice and couldnt play.maybe its my comp i dunno.i have celeron2.4ghz 1.5GB DDR and radeon 9600 PRO 256mb is this so bad?

No, the lag is really annoying for me.

A few weeks and months ago I had not much problems with lags. The fortwars were great and I had no problem with hunting. I never was slow because of the lag. I would say that everything was fine. I had only a few cooldown lags in the evenings, when many ppl were online.


But now it is starting to be unplayable.

- I am always the slowest person, because I am lagging all the time.
- Everything is just so slow!
Yesterday I casted a Meteor at pb syrtis side on Vincent Vega. He got the dmg when he was on the bridge. Then he died on the ignis side of pb. The message, that I did some dmg on him, came when he was already dead and resurrected.
- My targets are lagging away from me, so I cant cast the spells on them.

I dont know what happened and all ideas how I can change it are welcome!
