Please help me! cant play game anymore!

so i have posted about this problem but no one has helped so im reposting a new thread with more info. I can not get the game to work. i keep getting error 23 (error cyclic redundancy check). The folder associated with the problem is the liveserver/scripts/general folder which is empty but i have uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn't help so i dont know what to do. i even tried redownloading the game and that didnt help either. it it gets to the page where you pick you character fine but after that it crashes. When it is verify and connecting to world i keep getting various error messages(screen shots below)

this is the page it crashes on

i really hope someone can help me. i can play on the experimental world fine but its not the same and i want to play on the main server!

After you uninstalled, did you delete the ENTIRE folder where the game was installed to? If not, I would suggest uninstalling yet again. Then go to: C:\Program Files\NGD Studios and delete the entire regum folder (for windows). Then I would try the install again. If you are running Vista, you might want to install to the root of c:\

Good luck...

That sounds like a physical problem with your hard drive.

Try doing this (these instructions are assuming you're running Windows 2000/XP):

1. Uninstall the game

2. Open "My Computer" and right-click your "Local Disk (C: )" (or whatever your C: is called) and select "Properties" in the menu.

3. Click the "Tools" tab, then click the "Check Now..." button.

4. Click the "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" checkbox, then click the "Start" button.

IF your hard drive does in-fact have an unusable area, hopefully the disk check will mark it as such and that area of the drive will no longer be used.

5. Once the scan (and error fixing, if any) is complete, Re-install Regnum Online.

Hope this helps

Firstly, what is the exact error message you get when you try to delete the folder?

Secondly, did you do the hard drive check as described in my earlier post?

Katiechan is right i'm afraid, you need to take your computer to a capable technician and tell them about this.

They will probably tell you that you need a new hard drive.

The sooner you do this, the better. The longer you wait, the more chance you'll lose even more data.
