On Horus, I've been testing the following with reasonable success....

Blunt 19
Str passive (5)
Mindsquasher (5)
Thunderstrike (5)
Pierce 19
Balestra (4)
Ripost (4)
Lightning Strike (5)
Warcries 19
Colossus (5)
Frenzy (5)
Overwhelming Str (5)
Onslaught (5)
Unstoppable Madness (3)
Tactics 11
Feint (3)
Spring (3)
Caution (3)
Two-Handed 9
Slash (any remaining points)

I may have missed a couple powerpoints. I think they went into Spiritual Blow, and perhaps Disable. On Ra, I'm still using a blunt 19, two-handed 19, pierce 15 setup with thirst for blood and whirlwind (very similar to gph's setup, with a few changes). I've found that the additional attack speed is almost required on Ra. Horus though? Not so much. I seem to get by okay with my 10%as from the items I have.

This is my reset dedicated to slashing. I am using the claymore.
The idea is to hit strongly and quickly, and to stay alive.

Slashing weapons : lvl 19
Accurate Swings (5)
increases damage signicatively
South Cross (5)
I like the new fast version
Typhoon (5)
For wars or even small groups. High area damages : combine it with berzerk, onslaught and other buffs !

Blunt weapons : lvl 12
Lethal Anatomy (2)
I was having one point left

Piercing weapons : lvl 9

Tactics : lvl 15
Spring (4)
For hunting
Caution (4)
To stay alive
Trip (4)
Extremely usefull ...

Cris de guerre : lvl 19
Frenzy (5)
To stay alive
Berserk (5)
Incredible damages. To be used to kill quickly ...
Overwhelming strength (5)
Interesting additional damages
Onslaught (5)
Required
Unstoppable madness (5)
Required for wars and against warlocks

Two handed mastery : lvl 15
Thirst for blood (4)
increases attack speed and damages
Defening roar(1)
very usefull

I would have put the point in Lethal Anatomy in feint, because having two higher level knock downs is really, really useful.

Feint is easy to evade and I find that two high tricks are two much, if you also use the defeaning roar.

Deafening roar is excellent. I'm trying your setup, and I like it very much since even on level 5 mindsquasher is so random, blunt tree has only one thing good which is the passive resistence to piercing dmg which isn't enought to make it up for having poor skills).

Blunt 19:

Forceful Blow (5) <-- Good, cheap damage.

Ribs Breaker (1) <-- Obvious.

Thunder Strike (5) Curse you NGD

Warcries 19:

Frenzy (5) <-- Needed.

Challenging Roar (1)

Beserk (1) <-- Pretty much only for area rushes, when I know I can risk it.

Howl (1) <-- Very usefull even at (1)

Overwhelming Strength (5)

Emb... Onslaught (5) <-- Essential.

Unstoppable Madness (5) <-- A barbs best friend.

Two Handed Mastery: 19

Thirst For Blood (5) <-- Just.. <3333

Beast Attack (5) <-- Very good, damage like Ripost, but with dizzy.

Expansive Wave (5) <-- Awesome after 1.0.

Deafening Roar (1) <-- Like Howl.

Tactics 11:

Spring (3) <-- I wish I could have it at (5), but alas i am not hafe enuf skillz leik darb barb.

Caution (3) <-- Still worth points after 1.0.

Feint (1) <-- No points. ¬¬

Piercing 9:

Balestra (2) <-- Had 1 point left over, and it's better spent in Balestra.
