I think that Civil is a much better term.

Yes, I agree. Beeing civil describes it very good. For me beeing civil means to have respect towards someone because she/he is a human beeing.
Seems like we had a little problem with language barrier.

You should treat everyone the same as you want to be treated. It has no use in fighting terrorists or dictators if you're behaving just like them.
(America, please don't think you're God's own country, and moralistic superior to everyone. You aren't...)

Kobe Bryant is probably a good basketball player (I care little for pro sports), but half the players on my state's NBA team have been busted for drugs, sex with minors, rape and other offenses. I worked near the courthouse, and it was a running joke whenever the media vans showed up. "Gee, I wonder which player it was this time." (Edit: I later looked up Kobe Bryant in wikipedia. Turns out he WAS accused of rape in 2003, and later settled out of court, made a public apology, then got his endorsements back from Coca-Cola and Nike). In interviews half of them have grammar as bad as GIGO and sounds like idiots. I have little respect for someone just because they are a good basketball player. I have the same opinion of most rap "stars." I have far more respect for people I know in real life that have quality traits, like generosity, patience, humility and self sacrifice. Maybe some better examples of who we should respect are people like Ghandi, Oskar Schindler, Linus Torvalds (and every other open source developer), Dalai Lama or Carl Sagan. As far as this applies to a little, pretend world such as Regnum, I would give far more respect to a level 5 noobie who helps a level 1 noobie with a smile, than some arrogant asshole who thinks having a lot of RP is somehow important. Wow I completely agree with Octopus for once. I've read and watched some of the Dalai Lama's stuff, what's he's done, what he stands for. He's my biggest hero...next to my dad of course. Linus Torvalds not so much. Sure he's brought the linux kernel to the world, but he's really a neutral party in the scheme of things when it comes to open source/proprietary software. As much as Richard Stallman is an ass sometimes, he really has the best interests of all of us in mind.
