I think it's a pretty balanced 1v1 when it happens in the WZ. It always comes down on getting the head start, (and then who gets the resists/evades on his side but that's another issue).
A clever marksman would never run around unbuffed, and a clever hunter will always have the head start. When the fight occurs it's pretty much balanced. A marksman will deal lots of damage, if he is ever allowed to attack by the hunter. The hunter can still escape, but the marksman has the means to prevent that. It's one of the most interesting fights for me.

Usually a fight archer vs archer is determinated by the fact who confuses the opponent first.

how could he cast escapist when confused?
As a confused marksman it helps realy a lot to dizzy your opponent and to run around tree. When he comes near stunning fist. what you described remembers me on the fight we had recently when you confused me first :P

And no it's not like that fight in the graveyard, you didnt run around trees I think. Besides, that dizzy was completely useless imo. Lasts too little, and I already had cast DS on you (main reason for confusing me/dizzying me and preventing SotW, but I dont use SotW ) and that mana could be used for other spells. I still hit with boosted normals. But it's okey you won in the end

I have both classes to 50 and I prefer hunter over marksmen. Sure they are weaker, but I love speed and the ability to travel fast. I don't use camou much, I don't use pets, I use long bow.. one of the few hunters I know that uses shield piercing, and break apart. I use full evasion, but I only use dodge lvl 1. See I put points into what I know works. Not some number generator. I don't have problems almost ever with marksmen one on one, but I use the enviroment, surprise, luck, and if I am going to loose and I know this I usually run.
