The reason Alsius is known for good players and is often outnumbered is because all those Runsescape-kids want to be Legolas. The only thing we can do about it is to promote books about dwarfs.
(btw, do you know Die Zwerge of Marcus Heitz? Probably in English The Dwarfs)

Lag has really become a bit heavy sometimes and I've seen some lately crappy Aggers fights but quite some good ones too lately. Ignis seems to get unconcentrated sometimes . Anyway, for me it really doesn't matter if ppl die or not. I will always go to Aggers if I still see serious, promising, organized, risk taking offensive attempts and players who don't press a key only every 20 s and play like if they are having a snack at the same time . P.S.: Thx to Inkster and Eli, who can sometimes be persuaded to go there lol, thx to Maldoror and Serafina, you two rescued my warlocks ass countless times yesterday I guess. And last but not least thx and sorry to all those brave warriors which rather often don't get healed in time.

Depends if your a goat or not. For example, the character Inkster thinks the character Znurre is as hot at hell. (the character Kathris aint so bad either) Quote:

I choosed Alsius because I wanted my character to be a dwarf.
The myth about dwarfs was probably developed in bronzeage, maybe even in chalcolithic period, when people started with mining. Because I like bronze age and I am interested in early metallurgy I choosed Alsius. But yes, many young players choose Syrtis because of Legolas syndrom. Most people that are "dark" minded in any way choose Ignis. I guess Alsius has the oldest player base in average because of the different images the realms offer to new players when they start the game the first time.

Even Legolas syndrom got me in Syrtis, but it couldn't keep me in there... no way in hell ... elves are SO VERY POPULAR, as opposed to "midgets" and "goats". There's a "Good" side, a "Bad" side, and it seems a third side... that no one has heard about. Personally I redirected to Alsius from Ignis due to timezone issues with my friends there, and I'd say Alsius has a much more mature community overall than any of the other realms. Syrtis is the most childish of them all, but I can't be 100% sure of that because I don't speak spanish

If such an attempt was done, there would be 2 different outcomes. 1). The enemy see you before you start to cast your areas, and a conjurer is lightning fast with putting up a dome. Epic fail. 2). You cast your areas, but knights are ofcourse using barrier so 50% of the enemy players fall, you kill 1 or 2 thanks to warrior areas and then you die. Epic fail. The only tactic I can come up with is to have like 10 hunters with confuse lvl 5, go into camo and confuse every conjurer at once (at once, to prevent them to dispell each other), wait for a few seconds and launch areas from front and back at the same time. But where are the hunters to do this? They are hunting. Where are even the players to do this, or any similar manouver? SImple answer: nothing of this is possible in Alsius certain times of the day.

I see the evades in regnum the way i see resilience in world of warcraft.. annoying as hell.
But this evade stuff thats going on is crazy. I remember casting tremor once on a grp of maybe 15-25 people and only 2(!) got hit by it. The evade rates needs to be toned down and fast. And alsius needs more people.. im getting bored of rushing to herbred for a good fort war only to be zerged down because usually pines is a dead place and noone likes it.
