We even wanted to give Russia right to come and watch this installation from time to time. But no. Russia just want to play like they used to. Force and money.

exactly. And the system is rather a key for us to feel safe, cause we know that US will defend their soldiers here

American Interception technology is top notch in the world, it can trace and hit a missle faster near seconds from when it is launched.

I don't think this is a game, Edge. They don't LOVe to kill. They have their strategy. They let their economy fall right now, this is a HUGE sacrifice but if they took it, it means that they want to fill Georgia's govern with their people and gain control of this country. It's not about just killing people.

I just want to show you the other side of the situation, there are so many informations coming from every source, people have to learn to filter it

Poland just signed a second, independent alliance with the US. Even if NATO did nothing, the US will protect Poland from Russia(and everyone else) now. The flip side is that Poland has also pledged to defend the US from all enemies as well, on top of Poland's NATO commitment.

Poland is getting Patriot anti-aircraft missiles from the US, in return the US is being allowed to base anti-ICBM ground based interceptor missiles on Polish soil. Presumably it will be a pretty large US base with ground personnel to protect it, and most likely some fighter aircraft as well, but time will tell on that.

The Georgia situation is extremely fragile. The US would love to help more, but at the same time doing so could spark WWIII, so it's important that whatever the US does be subtle and well measured. The US did fly back all the Georgian troops in Iraq, and also sent some food and supply planes to help out as well. Hopefully the truce holds and Georgia can get into NATO. Russia would have to be totally insane to attack a NATO state.
