A big part of the problem they are trying to remove gold from the players with the most and not focusing the effort there. The effect they are getting is hurting the lower level players still on their way to level 50 and this is not fair. Making gold have value again is not a bad idea but keep the effort on the upper level players that possess it.

Understanding what NGD is after is to remove the excess of gold they should lower the cost of armor, weapons, and repairs for level 40 and below. Most under that level are not the ones holding vast amounts of gold.

I agree with you here Tyr 100%! Also I'd like to add that some armors, even though they have higher durability, have to repair more than others. My hunter never repairs, but my marksman repairs after every war.
