Game won't start in Windows Vista

The game won't start in Windows Vista. I have run it as admin,shut down the firewall and even moved it to my desktop and i can't get it running

anyone who got any ideas?

I run both Vista HP and Ubuntu 8.10, I didn't have any problems running the game in vista, but I am the sole user of the machine and its the main admin account, the fix already mentioned should help you solve your problem

Did you install the game and running as administrator user?. Try to install the game in a folder except program files or /game/regnum.

Try to search the registry if some part is refering to some folder that do not exist.

I installed this game at 32bit m$ vista home premium sp1 (and all patches) using windows monkey method (clicking next buttons as fast as it is possible

) and game works fine. When game crushes? Do you have newest drivers for graphic?
Vista and its drivers are really buggy..

i had the same exact problem. k. right click on regnum online. go to run as administrator, and go to allow. then it will start normally. but u will need to do this every time u play.
