My first day in invasions
Meh!!! It was so awesome today, a lot of changes, of course a lot of resources to download, extremly too much ;p
Though now warzone is gonna be extremly active, and there is more castle wars, which are always great. I already see that trying to invade a realm is gonna be very tough. Though i dont think moving samal save was really needed. We have no more lvl 50 weapons to buy, and lowered our armors by one lvl(someones bow did get reduced from 42 to 39)I really like what they did to wind wall, and now only letting the caster of DS only get the dmg boost. I dont know why they reduced duration for each weapon buff for lvl 5, it was better duration=cooldown, but i do like the idea of canceling weapon buff, if switched to a different weapon. PS: Ignis is bouncing from Shaana to Meni to Imp :P |

Yes!
I've not had so much fun on Horus since the day it started. Congratulations NGD on an awesome update . I must admit I'm still abit sceptical towards the new "Epic" items and the "Lucky boxes" premium, and hope that the range of powers they are granted are reduced somewhat from what we saw on Amun... Because I'd hate for this to turn into yet another item-based mmo, especially a premium-powered one... I've only played the barbarian today, but so far the balance changes looks alot better than anticipated. Yes, you die a little faster with less armour, but as long as I manage to get a few hits off before I die that's what's expected of a barb i guess. Not having any buffs with duration=cooldown anymore actually added more depth and things to worry about in fights, and I quite unexpectedly found myself enjoying these new changes too. and btw, Syrtis on Horus have been on the defensive all day, running between forts, castle and gate to defend, good job and thanks for the fun, all you wannabe invaders! |

That makes marksmen even more a single player class. DS was the only unique spell of marksmen that encouraged team play. Also I am wondering why that change is not in changelog. About the update in generel: I cannot say yet if it will improve gameplay, time will tell.

I haven't tried it out myself, but from the look of the majority it looks like it went well with the exception of balance changes which will "wake up people" never satisfy every class at once.
Then again I can be a party pooper and say its just a fresh thing and of course it will stay hot for a week or two |

Invasions haven't yet been the nightmare i thought they would be.
However, as far as i know Alsius on Ra hasn't invaded yet. And there are times when Alsius forts/castle are under seige for huge periods. Realm imbalance needs to be addressed - and i have faith that it will be. |
