About the new Dutch server

while i think a new server will help NGD will help put some money in the bank and eventually improve the game.

im also worried about Horus since atleast in syrtris there is a decent ammount of dutch people.

From rumours I heard the xymerin you get when registering a new account is 400 xymerin. I don't think that this is unfair much.

Anyway, I hope ngd get money from this and I hope that will allow ngd to focus on Horus finally and that Horus population will see at least some of promises made by ngd, instead of Soon (tm) etc.

year by year, server by server, we are hoping ngd will get money to improve game, accepting also "somos pocos" arguments too... so far, nada. we ll see that new ngd 2.0, that's the only bright spot left to hope for.

Congrats for yet another successful partnership. First partnership brought us nothing good: fatigue and xp curve changes (you said your partner Gamigo is much experienced in this and thats why you listened them). We ll see what this partnership will bring "good" for our 2 servers, Ra and Horus.

The Ximerin bonus was probably in the terms of the contract and promoting. You have to remember that UnitedGames had a say in this as well. When it comes to the case of Horus its NGD's own server, so they can manage it however they see fit. End of story.

Will be interesting to see how Tyr unfolds, and I must say NGD's marketing technique spins off more and more I see of it Only I don't know if its for good or worse.

For now let the hate just boil up nice and easy, I see NGD is already kissy kissy on the delicate server

Its their marketing logic, they are apparently satisfied with it. Even when they look at Gamigo and UnitedGames version of how to run a game, I guess they prefer theirs.

For NGD to promote Horus, they must first find publishers. However, publishers usually have their own agendas and they will make their own demands. It's not unusual for publishers to want to run their own servers with a localized version of the game.

Eventually, they will find publishers that would be willing to just have a share of xim sales while leaving their users to sign up straight to an NGD server (Horus).

That's just how it is with most game development firms. They need the publishers to survive, so they need to satisfy their demands.

...If UnitedGames is demanding that is (Personally I hope they push bug fixes through out of NGD, unless NGD just was looking for a cheap partner who would not be annoyed by the current mess)
