xp boosters
Had question about xp boosters. Is 200% xp booster mean 4 times more xp or + twice more xp.
let's say you get 200xp for a mob, 50% xp booster: you get 300xp 100% xp booster: you get 400xp 200% xp booster: you get 800xp? or 200 + 400 = 600xp? Also, does realm or dragon xp apply after xp booster? Thanks. Last edited by gimolas; 10-07-2009 at 07:42 PM. |

It is the 200 base XP plus 200% of it (400 XP), which adds up to 600 XP. And, yes, it's why I think the 200% boosters are not really worth it unless you really feel you need them. Compared to the 100% boosters they give you 50% more XP, but they cost about 132% more. Go figure.
I'm not exactly sure, but it think you get the +RLM calculated to the boosted base XP. What I'm sure of is that you get more +RLM when using boosters, but I don't think the +RLM itself is boosted (correct me if I'm wrong here (and, yes, there is a difference)). Dragon XP is boosted, it's just XP, no difference is made. However, you should think twice about going to the dragon (or other boss mobs, even leaders), as it will take a lot of time to kill them, keeping the timer running. It would probably better to just kill normal mobs in the same time. Sidenote: The last paragraph doesn't apply to support conjurers, since for passive XP the countdown is only triggered at the same time you receive the XP.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, normal xp, GRP, CHG are increased by xp booster. After all that, then RLM bonus is applied. Are there any plans for NGD to implement a "buy xp for xim" premium? With the xp booster, you still have a lot to grind. This way, it would eliminate grinding and someone could level up to 50 much fater. Not sure if anybody would be interested... it all depends on the price. |

You're retarded :P j/k
If they have a scroll to get to level 30 for 24000 xim, why not have a scroll to get from level 30 to level 50? It could cost 100,000 xim or more. If people are buying the level 30 scroll, I see people who would buy the level 50 one. If nobody's buying the level 30 scroll, then what's the point of offering it? |

I'm not saying the level 30 scroll is worth it. My question is pretty simple and was just wondering if NGD thought of it as a commercial product.
For example, pay 10000xim for 100,000 xp or some number. To level 30, it's about 500k xp, so it's 24000xim for 500k xp. I can think of people who might buy it instead of wasting time to grind. |

The market would be there but I personally am against it. I believe that you gain alot from grinding, experience with the game and your skills, and make a few friends along the way. But I have allways been against the "fast track" methods to max level in any game. Just my opinion.

Ive seen players buy the 30 scroll, Most who are willing to fork out such a lot for a 50 scroll will be players who have been around for a long time, however if its a new player
Noob level 50 players - Easy kills, hopfully not to loud mouthed, also will miss out on items etc and maybe only be given 2~ mil gold from the scroll so will need to do some grind to maintain funds after buying gear, Easy Cash for NGD - If they shall buy it, they shall sell it, if the market exists then I dont mind a insta 50 scroll being around After all, do you care how much people had to grind? In Wz when you kill a guy do you thing 'This guy did 1-50 in 3 months' 'this guy did 1-50 in a week with 200% scrolls' and acctualy care about some guy leveling very fast? At the end of the day its another person to fight in wz and a nice stack of cash for NGD.
