Update being deployed today?

While in game playing I had a usual crash, upon restarting the game I have an active download, now 15-20 minutes into download.

Is this the big update we have been hearing about or am I just re downloading the game because of corruption?

it is possible that one of your databases were corrupted. if the server went down, it would be down for a while.
