As far as maintaining a long-distance relationship goes, it's all about how much you love that person and what you're willing to go through to be with him/her.

I have been married for almost 10 years now and both my Husband and I play RO. I have seen people start relationships in this game and some work out, some don't. I feel that no matter where or how you find Love you need to Embrace it. If it is real then you will find away to work out any obstacle.

Well said Dalmasca.. "online" relationships go beyond the physical and develop feelings that in more... conventional relationships take a lot longer to come to the surface.
Just like in any relationships, some work and some don't.
There are alot of long distance relationships that have lasted longer than most "real life" relationships do..
however, some fail miserably, just like every other kind of relationship out there.
People can't just blanket long distance or "online" relationships as... "does not work" ... or "does work"
It's individual relationships, not the type.

Agree, as you can't see the real looking of the person inside the game, it's quite probable that the connection between two persons is because they like each other personality, instead of just lookings, and MAY last longer than a relationship with some hot guy/chick you met in the real world.

Still, is quite strange and you never know who is in the other side, maybe a murderer? rapist?

The distance is annoying, but if there is true love, it doesn't matter.

Anyways, for me, it is up to destiny/God to find the right one.

And you would know this kind of information in real life? You are psychic?

The only thing you can tell different of someone in real life is how they look. And even that can be very deceiving, because people change how they look and act when dating, and then go back to normal when a relationship stabilizes.
