yeah, well an idea just popped to my mind.
Maybe I could create an Ebay account and there sell some huge posters of comic characters to people. But in order to do that, I'd need NGD's permission anyway.

I was wondering, what would people like to see on those posters?

Some characters from the comic? Some scenes? Mobs? I'd love to know what people would like to buy.

I thought of this: They're ready on the auctions, you guys order and pay, I print out and send. No investment coming from me this way, and there would be multiple sizes to choose from. I'd also could throw in some original drawings or even pages from time to time.

Print On-Demand books are not printed until ordered, that kind of goes with the concept of 'on-demand'. That is not to say that they are not available through traditional channels such as bookstores. Most bookstores subscribe to databases of books 'in print' - either online databases, CD-ROM editions or the good old-fashioned quarterly catalogue. This means that if someone walks into a bookstore and asks for your book, the staff will be able to look up the title, find out how to order the book, and obtain a copy for you. Of course, this whole process is so new (less than five years old) and the book industry is so old and musty, that it's not always that simple and you will often have to educate store clerks about the 'on-demand' principle.

I went to one site, and for 10 copies of the comic with full colour pages of a count of 200 and a full hardback laminated cover, the price was £161.91

The quote was based on 10 copies at a unit cost of £15.116. If you can get people to pre order you could publish the comic without any outlay to yourself. Obviously the more you have printed the cheaper it is per copy. You would have to add a few £ to give you some pay for your work, but its a reasonable price
