But most of them didn't follow you at all, except maybe 2, and what did you expect doing it in the middle of Syrtis zerg and not really going far at all...
I bet if it was me I would have at least 10 players from both sides following me until the swamp Amateur!

Whether through virtue, contributions, force of personality or sheer longevity certain forum participants will rise to form an aristocracy. While it is generally taboo to openly acknowledge the class distinctions, the hierarchy is well understood by all. While for the most part the Royals rule with magnanimity, they will not tolerate impertinence from the hoi polloi. It is their habit to remain aloof from petty squabbles among their subjects, but when full-scale war breaks out their intervention can be decisive.

Give chase to the enemy. Let them escape under no costs. That's just logic, not being RP hungry.
I don't get carebears that run away from fights saying shit like "They chased me, they must be soooo hungry for RP". It's like you believe that just for running away no one should attack you. In that case, I apologize for trying to kill my enemies in a war based game where the objective is to slaughter the enemy team over the walls. The only limit in catching sprinters is when you know that you can't catch them. If I know that I will catch you, then I will chase you until I see your corpse sprawled upon the earth. Otherwise it just ends up like a game of PvP in Guild Wars. |

Gotta say I agree with Van.
Personally, I hate when players abuse the system like this, no matter their intentions, and this alone is enough for me to want to kill them. Just letting them get away just proves that you give up and that this player managed to "outsmart you" using game design flaws. It was really the same before this balance update when certain classes could always escape from a fight easily. I would try to catch up with them just for the sake of proving that their way of playing was totally fubar and that they won't escape anyhow.

I think you will do the same. Just wait and kill. And not thinking about Rp but just KILL!

Well is strange that when we take Samal back, suddenly some syrtians that logged out when door broke, log in back in front of fort and try to run. Some of them horse quickly and manage to do that, some die quickly. Also I find many Syrtians "immune to spell" and disapearing. This is anoying explitation of a bug.
I think that in the case of crash or interrupting a game, a player should retain in the game for at least half a minute without any immunity. He can log back and fix his position or leave it to luck. That would prevent exploitation of this kind of bugs. Also logging out while in fort should be solved, some players use it to escape when lost battle. |
