Costume for Lucca Comics&games 2010
Lucca comics&games is an italian fair that take place in Halloween's week. You can find everything you want about fantasy world, card games, magazines, comics, etc.
The best things of this fair is that people can dress up in many ways taking inspiration from their favourite movie character, their favourite game or cartoon, well or whatever they think fit with the fair. Or even make a theme group of people. I took ispiration from RO for my costume, so i want to show it to the community. Please be nice, it's the first time i make a costume by myself, also the staff is not finished yet. Add your comments, feedbacks, suggestion. http://i25.servimg.com/u/f25/12/95/03/91/ss104912.jpg

Tunic could use some embroidery or if your sewing machine/skills are not good enough you could try some fabric paints aka liquid embroidery. Either way I would do some test pieces before ruining the tunic.

and I just noticed you could use some shoulder padding (or whatever it's called).. should be fairly simple to reinforce shoulders with some cardboard so they don't fall and lose shape while moving :P
LOL I'm full of ideas/suggestions even I don't know anything about costume making

ahahaha thanks for suggestion, feel free to add more, i will see what i can do to make it better :P
I thought already to painting something on the tunic, the problem is that i fear to ruin it :P so need some testing first. Also the green jacket cannot be embroided/painted because the material is not so adapt to work on.

If you are worried about spoiling the costume by hand painting, you could try using a stencil on some scrap material first, costumes looking good btw
