Hi Chilko,

I saw in some forums that Direct3D 10/11 native linux implementation is done. This could be interesting even for Regnum.

The game looks like it could be kinda funny but not my type of shooter :P don't think i'll be downloading it, how is it going to compete with Black Ops

-Wait does this mean considering NGD is a small company is Regnum gonna be relegated to weekend warrior Development. Meaning what game will have priority. Is regnum evolution at an end other then minor tweaking. I've seen way to many mmo companies neglect older games when they start a new one.-

Gamers love shooter games and the only thing more popular than a standard shooter game is a shooter game with aliens…and the only thing more popular than a shooter game with aliens is a shooter game with aliens that also happens to be a four-player cooperative title. NGD Studios announced that their first action-oriented title will be a four-player co-op shooter called Bunch of Heroes, which sees gamers taking on alien invaders and zombies.

Andrés Chilkowski, General Manager of NGD Studios commented in the press release about the announcement of the new game, saying…

"Like with Regnum Online, we are proud to be able to work in games our team loves. It's the only way to make internationally outstanding products in Latin America,”

Originally, the idea started as a pet project that eventually grew into something more as the team was messing around with the new proprietary Perfection Engine, which the game is running on. Bunch of Heroes sports cartoon-style artwork within a 3D world that sees players facing off against alien invaders and their zombie subordinates. This game has instant success written all over it, I mean, it’s a shooter with aliens and zombies and four-player co-op. Could you ask for anything more? Well, technically yes…online support and NGD is already on top of that.

I am actually going to be at 13th annual Independent games festival .I wonder if I will meet some NGD people. I hope they dont beat me up for being a pain in the ass

My sister is an actress and does Voice work for games sometimes and she gets vip passes to all of these kinds of events. So I tag along if I can.
