Can't access account

Hello,

I cannot access my account. I had initiated a ticket (#EUB-501200) on Feb. 8, 2011 regarding this issue. It has been 10 days as of this post and I have yet to receive a response other than the automated "you're ticket has been received" nor any action noted to the ticket. I still cannot access my account.

The last time I played I had just finished a quest with my level 16 dark elf barbarian and received a new piece of chest armor as a reward. The graphics for the armor piece was odd and when I switched the armor out and back again, the graphics for the armor changed. Switching the armor out and back again did not bring back the odd looking graphics. I figured it was a temporary glitch and decided to logout for the night. However, while the program tried to logout the program froze. I had to go to the task manager (which showed the program as 'Not Responding') and end task. Since then I have been unable to access my account. Every time I try, it'll get as far as the loading screen for the characters (the screen right after the NGD Logo) start to load then freeze. Again, I'll have to go to the task manager (which will show the program as 'Not Responding') and end task. I have uninstalled and redownloaded/reinstalled the game several times but the problem still persists. I've had other players access their accounts on my computer and they've had no problems getting into the game. This only happens with my account. Please, may I get some information regarding this problem. I'd like to continue to play the game and feel I've been very patient since it's been a week and a half since I've been able to play.

Try to delete the files called characters and characters.idx in the live server directory of the game and see if that solves your issue.

The problem is likely caused by the bad piece of armor, which is visible when you select your character. To fix it, reinstall the game, which will clear the cached appearance of your character and allow you to log in once more (he will appear "naked" in the character screen), then quickly de-equip the item while resources are still loading.
