Default I noticed Surak closed a thread - because I didn't post in Mac thread..

So where exactly is this? I speak English - so is it buried in a Spanish thread? Only I dont' see it- would be good if in future close thread reason has link to official thread. It's not immediately obvious - sorry!

That's not what Surak meant.

He said the problem was more widespread than just happening on Macs -it happens on Windows and Linux too- and he's already fixed the crash from happening in the new update. So when the next update comes out, it will be fixed. Does that make more sense?

Wouldn't it be more helpful to create a new sub-forum for MacOSX technical support like Linux has? People with technical problems tend to immediately look in technical related sub-forums coz it's where it makes more sense to find technical help.

It would also be more convenient if closed announcement threads were made in the abandoned News and announcements forum.

Exactly - that's precisely what I looked for after seeing Surak's footnotes.

This is what I was eluding to : Quote: Reason: Closing this thread because I asked specifically to post all MacOSX related problems in the official Mac port thread

So much this. Please, Frosk, the announcements section feels so lonely and neglected!
