All white, christian, right wing, rich, american born, die-hard capitalists are born equal. Everyone else is a communist, socialist, hippy, extremist, or whatever word they're using to mean "The Enemy" these days.

There was a time where Church word was law, and they controlled everything through "God" reasoning, ie. god-appointed kings, holy wars, do what we say or burn forever in a vat of lava etc.

There are few governments who wouldn't love to have that level of control over their populace, only now its done mostly through controlling information. Something becoming more simple as companies consolidate News Corp (asset list, including best selling newspapers in several country's) is one of the 6 Juggernauts that control over 90% of any information in newspapers, tv, film etc. Its rarely been easier to make a population see your point of view if you have enough money to pay for it to happen.

This isn't to say I believe in any of these assorted conspiracy theories, but the world is a mess, then again that's nothing new.
