is there anyone who played regnum that long ago and who still plays now im curious :P

That video shows Regnum Online in BETA stage somewhere in 2005. I've uploaded the same file on my own channel, unfortunately, YouTube processed the video wrong, hence why it stutters a lot(funny, just like the game at the moment). click here for free

As you've noticed, a lot has changed. You'll most likely get no answer here from players of the time that video was made, I'm quite sure that most only speak Spanish and very few English from 2005. They also used to discuss the game on different forums, hence why even the old developers only have the join year of 2006, however, one beta tester is so old that he has the join year of 1970.

Luckily, some screenshots and wallpapers of those times have survived through these years. Each of them capable of telling the story of Regnum Online's evolution. :biggrin:

The hell dude? We did, don't you remember? It looked like that before the big Graphical Engine update or something like that. There was something with Polys from 1000 to 4000? I don't know, I do know that RO was a lot more fun back then.. Even on Tyr

I know weve been playing for 2.5 years or so but still I don't remember Regnum looking so ancient Actually I remember when I first logged in, in Syrtis (tyr) I was like wtf nice graphics I really do remember that.
