Sorry to disagree with all the posters before me, but as a pet hunter I hate losing my pet every time I camo. Near the end of my time playing Hunters on RA, Raven and Horus, i got to where i never even wanted to carry a pet because i was always losing it every five seconds either to players or to using camo... and what can a Hunter do without camo? Let's be realistic, they stand no chance against other classes without it, even when well-played. Its their defining trait, and their primary battle tactic.

Pets simply have to be preserved, people may not like ganking Hunters using them but the damage even with pets is pathetic, so pets simply have to be preserved and improved at all times and quite possibly buffed in other ways. I don't want to hear the 'ganker' arguments anymore. On my marksman I don't even need to track or camo or confuse or pet, I can just walk right up to someone grinding and kill them in 5 seconds from 50 meters. At least let Hunters have their little bit of prime time.

Its like saying a barb can't kill you while grinding because he doesn't have camo, even though he runs faster than you and will catch you even if you try to escape. Using a camoflauge as the main wild card in the anti-ganker Hunter argument just doesn't work anymore ,and the nerfs were too drastic even at the start.

Actually I'm kind of disappointd that its yet another power point sink on a class that is already extremely short on points after the speed nerfs.

Well posted. I personally perfer a hunter with a pet, it's an entire tree that exists for the class and until NGD decides (if ever) to redifine the class to have a different tree than pets - they need to put the effort into making them a viable asset.

Well if knights should have spring, don't forget about warlocks, they are too slow and could use it too ^^ (sarcasm) really, knights don't need spring, what they might need is little bit lower speed malus for using defensive support (10%?), make it little bit less CC resistance to compensate that (40% on lvl5?) and make it knight-only. Knights take forever to kill and make them super fast wouldn't help anything but making tham OP. Not having speed bufs should be penalty for having super defense. And they can also keep their target CCed all the time, feint 5, kick 5, shield bash 5 + balestra + feint 5 + kick 5 + ... = CCed forever and that is also compensated by slower speed.

Well my opinion about pets in camo is ... i don't mind that much, we will see what it does. But point this is almost strictly 'boost' for hunters in PvP only, doesn't change anything for rvr and 5% health for pet is not gonna make the pet survive one more hit (maybe from hunter ^^) and it will get into ways of others, as it always does.

OT: But do you even play a knight? CC forever with all the beacons, DI,
UM,MB,Sotw. In general wars if my ms fails so do allso about 90% off my CC
except Disable limb. Sure in 1vs1 if i manage to get close i can usually keep
them close to me with my cc skills, but game focus is rvr not pvp.

3 resources are broken again: 51280, 51294 and 51297
The game hangs in an infinitive download loop.

For me as a programmer and computer science student that's a program design failure. A better solution is to try to download it 5 times, than notify the user that resources download failed with the number of resources (when it's less or equal 5 failed-to-download resources - otherwise write the resource numbers in a log file).

Fall damage detection on mounts is buggy.

Knights have much more armor than a barb, consequently they can not run like a barb with sprint. Knights are nerf class, because of kick + feint + balestra + shield bash .

The primary cause of death for me is receiving a knock spell and a overpowered equipped barb with constantly 1K - 2.2K autohits with very high attack speed.

That’s pretty clear for every class. Except hunters. Hunters lack a role. There is nothing that makes hunters special (pet and camo don’t really count, as I’ve said), and that’s why it’s so hard to balance them.

That’s a poor role to play. An incredibly poor one. And that hunters don’t stand a chance without it, is what needs to be changed.

DOn't you think there is enough unbalance with the level cap, warmaster etc..; and now you want to add this...
