It's not against your will. You're perfectly free to play on only one set of characters and not multirealm.

I hate to sound mean here... but if you don't like it , what do you think everyone else has gone through every time NGD added or split a server, or nerfed a class beyond usefulness? Haven is just the last in a long line of events like this. Sometimes you just have to stop playing characters in this game, perhaps even forever.

I don't see NGD changing that any time soon, as we still lack realm transfer scrolls, despite many people wanting them (hint hint, NGD ).
