I think the moment x people of one class win against x people of mutliple classes - if they both use good tactics - will be a sad moment.

So, while the 7 of you hunters are out looking to gank one poor victim... the rest of your realm will be 7 people short in their fort wars, and be at a big disadvantage. So you 7 will each get 2 RP every 10 minutes, while your undersized army will be crushed over and over by larger forces, giving the other realms 30 or 40 RP in the same time period.
Go for it, hunters of Ignis, the other two Realms LOVE your plan. Here's my counter-plan: Create a low-level hunter. Station him or her out in the open, near an alter. When the 7-person hunting party appears, use all your evasion skills to keep them chasing you for 20 minutes. When they finally kill you and get 1 RP each, just respawn and repeat. This will keep all seven hunters occupied for hours, leaving the Ignis fort defenders underpowered. Divide and conquer! Last edited by octopus; 09-20-2007 at 06:35 PM. |

Err... Actually the recruiting party is Ignis. And they did specifically mention they wanted to use their trainings to help in fort wars to name one of their purposes. At any rate I still think a mixed elite squad will own an all hunter squad anytime. |

I might have figured out a few counters anyway. Again, move this thread to the inn. Please +1 EDIT: YF-23, no la tenía esa. groso xep Last edited by El_Naso; 09-20-2007 at 08:27 PM. |

You mean a team of "flying bricks"? I'd prefer to call them a group of YF-23 fighters. Stealthy and quick aircrafts ready for any place at any time.

Why move to the Inn El Naso? That forum is more aimed at things that don't involve Regnum, this directly involves Regnum.
And Octopus, if their team appears from no where, and takes out an enemy conj or two then disappears in a fort war is that a bad thing? Your tactics seem awful

Again, you miss the point, the Hunters can take out key opponents. If you think numbers is the only factor that determines the winners of fort battles, then god help you.
And when I say disappears, do you seriously think I meant for good, or were dieing to use some sarcasm. If I was trying to take a fort, and then my ally conjurers were taken out, I'd be much more worried than if some Hunters started attacking say, a Barbarian being healed by a conjurer. Waste of resources is throwing Hunters in the frontline against Marks and 'Locks.
