I could be wrong but isn't it something that the GameSamba folks should care about instead ? I have not seen any of their GC/GM wandering in the initation zone yet, at least for Syrtis and during the European timezone.

High level players helping newbies is quite cool, however like you said it's not really our duty and it drains some possible WZ action away.

I used to do it when I got tired of warring. We'll see what we can do about the GMs and GCs. I've seen some (Gruff, for example) but the lack is obvious!

There are so few times we can relax and enjoy wandering in our game! I missed it!

We need to see GameSamba return to the game. Their GMs were always overbearing and had too much power, but their GCs were very kind and helpful. If you guys could set up some kind of restriction on a GM's power so that they can't do things like just ban someone because they think they should, I think you wouln't get nearly one-tenth of the complaints that you got about GS before.

The main reason anyone ever disliked GS GMs was because of the "punishment without trial" approach that they take, but otherwise they did liven the game up and also made things alot easier on newbies, especially the events that they held sometimes (no warzone events though, please).

It seems to me like GS got a few complaints and pulled back the lion's share of their people from the game, which isn't fair to newbies. So now we still have to follow their rules yet we don't get any of the benefits because their people aren't helping us with the game itself anymore, because no GCs/GMs are ever around.

Maybe also restrict their activity to the inner realm unless they receive an abuse report.

I'm so glad we have so so many new people in game. Last night i stayed at first grind places next to start village and tried to heal all ppl i see around. It was nice to try to help them and i felt nice and warm inside.

There are alot of players from ignis that try to help new players. Well there are some confusions like the "dynamite" quest where people got utterly confused. If you use fuse the rock blows, but you can not get the gem. We talk them again and again to get dynamite from up ramp. Fuse needs to refuse to blow if you lack dynamite and get you a message that you need dynamite.

CoR needs some wizard and training to give some start information to players. But at end i'm glad to see that Altaruk got some new players. They are not so many, but hey it is a good start.

--

I think it will be good to have one player from every class to come to start village. And to show well this is conjurer, this is warlock etc. We got a pet hunter with us and alot new players was "wow what is this giant monster? ooh it is hunter - i want to have giant pet!".

Guys bring your scary looking barbs, your shiny knights, your op marks, your big pet hunters, kelw looking warlocks and cool conjus. Show how level 60 can look like and what it can do. This people need to know more about classes and what they can do.

We got a new steam player in Dark Legion. He is nice and determined to continue.

Yes, usually when one has a small amount of power (exactly no more than your reputation and title) there is a high chance of being kind and helpful, just to maintain reputation.

It's been a rough week, a lot of work but we will see how to solve this and make it easier for GCs to be around more often.

Great! I've seen some -as also one who posted in General Discussion- which see in CoR what has been left aside in MMO scene. Despite all the bashing the game is getting, we love to hear that some new players get the essence of the game by themselves, thing that we've always failed to show at first levels.
