Crash, crash and more crash

My pc is bad as it is, playing in Ra was no longer an option for me. However since CoR was officially launched, in the settings area there is no longer an option for OpenGL. Playing on D3D looks nice etc however I can no longer fort war. If I run into a group of more than 15 people (Ally, Enemy or both) I instantly crash. At Imperia the other day I crashed 7x in a row, eventually I rage quit.

Note: I plan on getting a better pc soon, but for now any solutions on what I can do? =/

Hey. I'm sure they just hid the option for opengl rather than removed it altogether.

Have you tried setting it in game.cfg? I don't know if the setting will stick once you launch the game, but it's worth a try.

if the renderizer option is overwritten via the launcher, you could bypass the launcher as alternative. In the live folder there is a exe file, game.exe or something. Create a shortcut of this file and in the properties add your accountname and the md5 hash of your password behind the path.

Under Windows XP I tested it about 3 years ago, not completely sure if it still works like this under Windoze.
