You're right about Confuse and SoftW. However, my main point is to show the possible usage of the so called useless spells.

Well as I said Tamui,

I would be interested to see if you did something with the Increased Miss Chance spells, if they have the same effect.

i did actually. A Warlock begun missing a lot of spells on me. But well the randomness of the game gets inaccurate results. As I think Miss Chance and Hit Chance are different, when applying Blindness to a person, his Hit Chance doesn't decrease. The good thing about Miss Chance that it apploes for spells, which can be useful at times. As a Conjurer, I wish Shifting Silhouette was a self buff.

The combination of curse and blindness is a lot more effective though, despite that its 10 power points that you can be put to much better use.

The cost of all these relatively weak and situational single target debuffs are just not worthwhile.

I've tested curse and blindness (both at level 4) before. It worked really well... in a controlled environment.

I did test blindness, too, and it worked quite bad for me. Like 20% missed hits.

But when I added shifting silhouette to my tests, the missing rate suddenly raised to ~80%. Seems to be a weird calculation...
But you will never really have the chance of using shifting silhouette AND blindness together.

Fun spells to annoy someone with in a pvp, horrible spells in RvR.
