Whatever are specs of dragon armors for archers, how one could get a full set if he cannot join any dragon raid party ?
NGD: did you forget about mages (level 50 spells scaling) and archers (dragon's caves) ?? If you want a warrior-centric game as it seems, time to fix lag issues as warriors are the most impacted by positionnal errors and phantom swings...

Ya', please do. NGD really wants your $ & I'm gonna' need another warrior out there just to onslaught me barb as I spring trying (in vain) to catch a hunter with all this new uber-move-boost gear .... looks like he'll outrun me if ya' don't (could be worse; I could be on me spring-less knight who rarely ever catches archers even before all this new dragon-gear). Balance?! As if. FFS

I would prefer that warlocks, hunters and marksmen are also necessary for a dragon kill.

Afaik, CoR is a MMORPG, and in a Role Playing Game each class, each character, should have a role, i have one character (yes, only one) since years, why should i grind/scroll another character to have access to certain parts of the game ??
I know many (most) don't care, they play any character or realm, and change from one to other depending on situation or mood, but for me, the real challenge is to stick to your character, whatever is the tide. Now, if NGD is forgetting about this, i may change game instead of character.

Knowing NGD, they'll probably sweep this under the rug and hope we forget about it. This means you're hunter will probably never see the inside of the dragons lair unless there's a party desperate for a player to fill a spot. Quite honestly I would have told you to do this months ago and ultimately it will come down to this. If you have your heart set on doing PvE, I would suggest you get over your love for the hunter class and re-roll another PvE viable class because I see hell freezing over before NGD does anything about it. I'm in the same boat as you with a hunter and warlock as my only high level characters and I honestly wont ever bother logging in for this update. Give me some scalable spells and I might play again. |

Well, if NGD decides to keep this new gate-must-be-capped rule to be able to grab enemy gems, then a hunter stalkering each gem becomes even more critically necessary as the main wargroup must either hold (or recap) gate for all to get out. In a near equal odds fight, those gems are only safe if hidden ... & ... only another hunter can expose them & make gemholders vulnerable, so...
(Oh, but what does a lock do versus a knight-aura-ed throng in RvR again? I forget....) |
