the mobs you level of are part of a questline, killing them will make it difficult for the people doing the quests, and there really aren't a lot of em' At later levels the hardest ones will be easy and not give as much xp. Also for each mobgroup in the quests there are a limit of em' spawning. It's 7 of the easiest, 5 of the mediocre and 3 of the hardest. too little mobs for more people . and going out in the war zone. I think mages can go there at level 25 to help defend a fort, staying inside the walls and from time to time shoot the enemies, while conjurers can resurrect the fallen and heal a bit. warriors and archers have been mentioned. |

We've forgotten to mention one thing: Always go out with an experienced player when going into the warzone for the first time. Regardless of what lvl you go out into the warzone in, having someone to guide you through will help prevent a lot of confusion and frustation.
Actually, this probably should be in a thread of its own since this one was originally meant to explain about forts :P |

Alright I understand everything about forts and castles now, but whats the point in capturing them? I mean is there any actual benefits to the side that holds the most forts?

The only advantage right now is that the players holding the fort will have a defensive advantage when the actual "owners" of the fort tries to take it back from them. Right now, the only reason anyone goes to capture a fort is because they're picking a fight, or if they don't have enough people to hold it they do it simply to annoy the enemy. Making sure your realm's fort/castle stays yours also mean that people can take refuge in them if they are being hunted.
NGD stated in its long-term development that they might implement Invasions. As far as we understand it, for this to happen all forts belonging to that realm must be captured by the enemy before it can be invaded. Presumably, this was the original purpose of having capturable forts. |

Alright, thanks and what do rp points do? I know that you get them from killing enemies and they increase your ranking but do they do anything else?

Currently RP is only useful as a way of keeping track of your character's "progress", and if you're the type of person to boast about it, it's good for boasting. Personally, I care more about realm results (total RP, kills and losses for the whole realm). I like to know that my realm is kicking arse and to know whether I'm doing my bit for it or have to step up my efforts. Unfortunately, realm stats are frozen atm and NGD is working on getting it running again.

This is probably obvious by now, but in the new update if you can capture all of the enemy's forts/castles you can invade their realm.
