Problem with map

The map isn't showing the area I'm in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing happened. Keeps trying to download info when I open the map, but same thing keeps happening. Kind of annoying since it's the one part of the map I care about since I'm in Syrtis.

The area you're in is the beginner's zone...There is an ingame map of that area called "Marelah Isles Map" so use that instead. However, it also cuts out a large part of inner realm so that might be a bit of a problem...Sorry, can't help you fix it.

have you tried to download all resources at once?

Yes, maybe try that. Go to "options" in the top left corner of the screen after the login screen, then go to "update all new resources at once". It may take a while, but it could solve your problem.
