How to improve this game ?
This game is good, but we want to make it even better !
There are a lot of mmorpgs out there, but as I use Linux I know only few. If you played other mmorpgs like WOW, Hero online and a dozen of other games should know... What are those games have (except a team of 10,000 developers and a budget of 6 million bucks ) , that we can use in this game ? I don't mean new mobs are quests, I am talking about game aspects. What THEY got that we can have (or can't have) ? I'm really interested in knowing it because I don't play much mmorpgs except Regnum. |

The main thing other games have that I'd personally like to see in Regnum is places below ground. Fill 'em with agro mobs, make them labyrinths, make some of them pitch black so we need to buy torches or use spells to illuminate our path.
Thing is, I know it's been mentioned before... and I know NGD have said this would be hard to do with the current engine. Of course, other games have mining, crafting, weapon enchanting, etc. too. |

weapon enchanting could suite this game but mining is just not it.
I mean this game is all about fighting and leveling, it's not Planeshift were there are no levels and you can play this game without fighting at all. This game is about fighting, tactics , strategy and fort wars. mmm....maybe make a catapult at for wars ? could be an idea... |

You could fill the catapult baskets with dwarf warriors and fling us over the fort walls into battle, this i'd like.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I left PS... too much mining and not enough fun.
Oooh... other things, not sure that many mmorpg's have them but some do... Gambling & Sub-Games. You could have board games and card games (taverns) and an ability to have sports-style competitions.. for example an archery competition (using player skill with dexterity stat having some influence too.) I go for something like fishing, something other than constant war,
but I really approve underground dungeons, that link realms together. |
