Creating clans: How do you create one???

Yes, I got really curious about how to create a clan?
I'm guessing that one has to be a hight level and so on, but i need details

So please tell me(and others) all about clans

PS!:Not sure, if similar forum is already in existents!

Requirements are: you need 8 lvl15 or above people including the founder, and 100k gold. Then, you talk to the Clan NPC dude in-game (in syrtis it's some npc in fisgael) and you create your clan. Dunno the details on exactly what you type or choose in the dialogs, but it should be pretty straightforward.

PS: here are the npc's for each realm you need to talk to once you have gathered 8 >lvl15 players and 100k gold:

Also, be aware that the leader of the party of 8 becomes the leader of the clan and that the 100k gold must be in the leader's inventory.

in other words ask for the money upfront from each of the players if your short lol short as in a dwarf :P

It is very important that all 8 players are not member of another clan. This seems stupid to tell, but a lot of times players can not create and do not know why, and the reason is because some in the founders party is already member of a clan.

Teh 8 plyers must be on the same party. The leader would be the one who create the party. He/she must be the one who talk to the NPC and he/she must have 100.000 gold.

I'm much wiser now thanks to you all.
But just one more thing, I'm already in a clan(someone invited me) and my logic tells me that i have to ask the leader to dismember me, right?
The founder has to cancel my membership?
Or what...

If you look into the clan tab (press p to bring up the community window), you can open a window to the list of clan members from the clan tab. You can click "resign" from that window to quit the clan.

thank you for that, but i figured that out earlier today, got to say, that the game still needs a little more work, some buttons have been left unseen

need to look more clearly

We found when creating our clan that all memebers of the party had to be present. We tried when one of the members was out on Mt. Goblin and it didn't go. He had to come back into town.

Worked for me, I helped a friend create a clan while I was out in the wz. Of course, this was a few updates ago.
