I have a hard time with having Mario of Persia on a 'greatest' list, afterall, wasn't he banned for being a cheat? (if i'm misinformed, my due apologies)

Yeah you should apologize, not only Mario is anti-cheat, but he's a great person, player, strategist and leader. He stopped playing (just like Nazgul/Acido) because he thinks Warlocks need a "survival" skill; if not, he would still be first of the ranking you like so much. When he stopped he was 10k before Pelica, and would still be.

I was told by several players he was banned for exploits/cheating (both for having all the skills set to lvl 5, and for doing something to get himself more mana than he should have). Several players in syrtis related this to me when i asked, "what happened to marion of persia"?

If NGD says it's not so, then i'll apologize. In fact, it would be nice if they did, to clear up his good name(or verify him as a villian), because this is a obviously a circulating rumor.

Anyway...

So, even with a 10k rp lead, and getting mass spam rp, he still didn't think warlocks were strong enough?

Well, here's a tip Mario, WEAR A HAT- It's armor. "Looking Cool" does no favors for anyone but your enemy.
Of all the players in regnum, i used to enjoy killing him the very most.

As for his strategic vision, that is entirely debatable. I don't consider MASS gate camping late at night with 20-30 lvl 50's to be particularly visionary, nor very effective. It is however, very lame.

As for defensive spells, warlocks have more than ANYONE. What other class can take an enemies health and add it to their own? Oh, right.....there is no other class.

ME start an argument? Pfft im sick of the little trolls nipping at my heels everytime i post.

This is a thread (at least partially) about players that left. I asked "what happened to mario, i heard he got banned". That is a simple question, it's not 'starting an argument', though others took it RIGHT AWAY as cause to flame me yet again.

So, i fight fire with fire, as they say.

At any rate, my observation wrt mario stands: If he or any other player feels under-defensed, they should probably wear their armor instead of bitching(or quitting!) about how they're so vulnerable.
